Blessing of the Animals

An arts-based Ceremony

 

A family event that includes the family petsÉ

FREE fun for everyone!

 

 

 

Bring Spot to speak to an animal communicator, eat homemade dog treats and receive a communal blessing. Expect some fun for SpotÕs human companions tooÉincluding vegan food, cruelty-free crafts, puppet shows, music performances and a community drum circle!

 

October 15, 1-4pm

1-3 puppet shows, music performances, roving mime, face painting, animal communicator

3-4 ceremony, drum circle

The blessing is not affiliated with any religion or religious practices.

Animal companions must be on leashes or in carriers.

Public Eye: Artists for Animals is a Philadelphia-area group that produces public events featuring the arts to shed light on hidden or ignored injustices and to promote a cruelty-free lifestyle. Public Eye formed in January of 2005 to educate people about animal cruelty issues, cultivate compassion through the arts, encourage informed consumer choices and produce collaborative public events. Public Eye is a project of Mobilization for Animals Pennsylvania Inc., a 501C3 nonprofit organization.
